Getting to NewCap Event Center in Paris


The NewCap Event Center is located at 3 Quai de Grenelle in the 15th arrondissement of Paris. Its central location near the Eiffel Tower provides excellent accessibility via public transport, with metro, RER, bus, and tram stops within walking distance. The historic city center is easily accessible from this location.


By train

Paris is exceptionally well-connected by high-speed rail (TGV, Eurostar), making train travel an excellent option for reaching the city:

- Amsterdam (3h20 to Gare du Nord) - Amsterdam Schiphol Airport (3h40)

- Köln/Cologne (3h20 to Gare de l'Est) - Frankfurt (3h50 to Gare de l'Est) - Berlin (8h20 with connections) - Hamburg (8h with connections)

Belgium

- Brussels (1h25 to Gare du Nord) - Antwerp (2h20 to Gare du Nord)

Spain

- Barcelona (6h30 to Gare de Lyon) - Madrid (9h30 with connections)

Switzerland

- Geneva (3h10 to Gare de Lyon) - Zurich (4h10 to Gare de Lyon)

Italy

- Turin (5h40 to Gare de Lyon) - Milan (7h to Gare de Lyon)

We recommend booking tickets through SNCF Connect, Eurostar or Trainline for international tickets. For travel within France, the SNCF Connect app or website is most convenient.

From Paris train stations to NewCap Event Center:

- From Gare du Nord: Take Metro Line 4 to Montparnasse-Bienvenüe, then Line 6 to Bir-Hakeim (35 minutes) - From Gare de l'Est: Take Metro Line 4 to Montparnasse-Bienvenüe, then Line 6 to Bir-Hakeim (30 minutes) - From Gare de Lyon: Take Metro Line 14 to Bercy, then Line 6 to Bir-Hakeim (25 minutes) - From Gare Montparnasse: Take Metro Line 6 directly to Bir-Hakeim (15 minutes)


By air

Before booking your flight, consider taking the train instead. High-speed rail connects Paris to many European cities with comparable or better total travel times than flying when considering airport transfers and security procedures.

Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG) is a major international hub serving over 100 airlines and 300+ destinations worldwide. To reach NewCap Event Center:

- Take RER B to Saint-Michel Notre-Dame, then RER C to Champ de Mars-Tour Eiffel (1h) - Or take the direct Air France shuttle bus to Étoile/Champs-Élysées and then Metro Line 6 to Bir-Hakeim (1h15)

Paris Orly Airport (ORY) is the second largest airport, located closer to the city center:

- Take Orlyval to Antony, then RER B to Denfert-Rochereau, and Metro Line 6 to Bir-Hakeim (45 minutes) - Or take Tram T3a to Pont du Garigliano, then RER C to Champ de Mars-Tour Eiffel (35 minutes) - The Orlybus to Denfert-Rochereau and then Metro Line 6 is also convenient (45 minutes)

Paris Beauvais Airport (BVA) mainly serves budget airlines and is located further from Paris:

- Take the shuttle bus to Porte Maillot, then Metro Line 1 to Charles de Gaulle-Étoile and Line 6 to Bir-Hakeim (1h45 total)


By metro, RER, or bus

NewCap Event Center is excellently served by public transport:

Metro:

- Line 6: Bir-Hakeim station (5-minute walk) - Line 10: Charles Michels station (10-minute walk)

RER:

- RER C: Champ de Mars-Tour Eiffel station (7-minute walk)

Bus routes:

- Lines 42, 69, 82, and 87 stop within 250 meters of the venue

For public transport in Paris, use the RATP app or website to plan your journey. A Paris Visite travel pass may be economical for multiple journeys. You can buy a navigo card or separate tickets in the stations. Google Maps is also great for directions.


By bike

Paris has an extensive bike-sharing system called Vélib', with several stations near the venue:

- Station Quai de Grenelle (directly in front of the venue) - Station Bir-Hakeim (5-minute walk)

To use Vélib', download the app and purchase a short-term pass. Electric bikes are also available.


By car

While driving in Paris can be challenging, if you choose to come by car:

Paris has established Low Emission Zones (ZFE), restricting access to certain vehicles based on their environmental classification. Check your vehicle's Crit'Air rating before driving into Paris and purchase a sticker upfront.

Parking options near NewCap Event Center:

- Parking Centre Commercial Beaugrenelle (5-minute walk) - Parking Tour Eiffel (10-minute walk) - Parking Bir-Hakeim (7-minute walk)

Park & Ride:

For a more convenient option, consider using one of Paris's Park & Ride facilities at the outskirts of the city, then taking public transport to the venue. Major options include:

- Parking at Porte de Saint-Cloud + Metro Line 9/10 - Parking at Porte de Versailles + Tram T2/T3
